On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1936, the first pop music chart based on national sales was published by ‘Billboard’ magazine. Parents of teenage children immediately began complaining about the loud ‘Big Band’ music being played on the radio and the vigorous dancing these kids were up to these days.

April 13, 1808 and 1970

On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1808  William “Juda” Henry Lane perfected the tap dance.  One hundred and sixty-two years later in 1970, Sandra “Foxy” Ellenbrook perfected the lap dance at the Kitty-Kat Club on the Upper Eastside in Chicago, IL. History has proven to like her’s better.
