On THIS DATE IN TWISTED-HISTORY! in 1752. This day never happened nor did the next 10 as England adopted the Gregorian Calendar. People rioted because they believed the government stole 11 days of their lives. There is nothing I can add to make this more absurd than it already is, and the sad fact is, if it happened today, the same type of people would be rioting for the same reason (I’m referring to the Libertarians and the Tea Partiers). This is why I will have something to write about everyday of the year for the next hundred years.
