On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1752 Benjamin Franklin experimented with flying a kite during a thunderstorm. The result was a little spark that proved the relationship between lightning and electricity. He also found that drinking large quantities of red wine would result in the idea that flying a kite during a thunderstorm might be good for shits and giggles.
