On July 18, 1966 at the age of 31 years and 251 days old, American astronomer, planetary scientist, cosmologist, astrophysicist, astrobiologist, author, and science communicator, Carl Sagan turned 1 billion seconds old. Everyone who turns 31 years and 251 days old is at least 1 billion seconds old. It isn’t funny, but it is awfully interesting.
