On this date in Twisted-History.com in 1996 – Tupac Shakur and Marion “Suge” Knight were shot while in Las Vegas after a Mike Tyson fight. Shakur died six days later. Interestingly, Tupac had released six albums before his death with four of them going platinum. After his death, eight more albums were released with seven of them going platinum. So, just like Elvis, Tupac become a bigger commercial success in death than he was in life.
