On this day in Twisted-History.com in 2004, Trump Hotel and Casion Resorts, owned by billionaire Donald Trump, announced plans to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Because when corporations and billionaires do it, it’s a sound business decision caused by unforeseeable economic circumstances, not because of poor decisions made by management. When regular people file for bankruptcy, it’s because they are trash and despicable people who are taking advantage of the laws to avoid the results of their inability to live within their means or follow a budget.
