On this date in Twisted-History.com in 2003 Russian Cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko married Ekaterina Dmitrieva. Malenchenko was currently circling the earth on the International Space Station while his bride was at the NASA Houston Space Center in Houston, Texas. Malenchenko was the first man to be married while orbiting the Earth, but he had to wait until October 29, 2003 to consummate the marriage after landing in Arkalyk, Kazahkstan. Malenchenko and Ekaterina are still married and the Russian government has stated that they do have one child. There is no current information on the child’s mutant superpowers at this time.
