On January 24, 1935, the first canned beer, Krueger’s Cream Ale was sold by American company, Krueger Brewing Co., in Richmond, Virginia, about 14 months after the end of Prohibition. People at first were skeptical about the new invention, but one they realized there was alcohol inside, and all it took was a church-key to get at the liquid refreshment, the red-necked-ness of the basic American broke through and the cans sold like hot-cakes. Well, like beer at a baseball game. Within a year, 35 other breweries start selling canned beer.

    What bestter than beer in a can? TWO beer in a can! And evn better THREE can and FOUR is more!

    Serously I knew beer was in cans but did know some body inventsed it. Makes since through becuse cans easyer than bottel. I will take bottles too! Not picky, as long as drunk.

    Only I don’t get is why lock booze witha chruch key? How that atall? What the hecks a church key any way for? When your too drunk to un lockk a church or some thign? Cos I’m allways too drunk to that! LOLL
