October 23, 1987

On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1987 France performed a nuclear test at Muruora Island in the South Pacific and the US performed one at the Nevada Test Site. While the US bomb explosion was of course bigger and packed with action and extra special effects, the French explosion had less exposition and better scenery.

June 11, 1770
