On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY!  in 1921, Margaret Sander’s National Birth Control League combined with Mary Ware Denetts Voluntary Parenthood League to form the American Birth Control League. The New York Blue-Ballers had the first draft pick of that year and selected Ms. Angela Worling of Topeka, KS. During her high school dating career, young men batted a league low .051. Out of 138 date appearances she only gave up six singles and a double during her four years in high school. Mrs. Sanders and Mrs. Denetts had high hopes for her potential.
