On This Date in! in 1962 a laser beam was successfully bounced off Moon for the first time. Mad scientists worldwide angrily confronted their tech-minions and demanded why they hadn’t done it first. The most common response was “But you had us pour most of our R&D money into creating hot, curvy cyborgs that looked good in mini-skirts and go-go boots.”
