On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 2012 scientists at Stanford University invented a working bionic eye that is powered only by focused light. It is believed that this invention could eventually restore the sight of millions of people suffering from macular degeneration and retinal pigmentosa, but to the disappointment of millions of men, boys, and geeky lesbian girls, it will not shoot laser beams or allow the user to see through women’s clothing.
