March 18, 37

On March 18, 37 CE,to that point in time, the Roman Senate made the worst decision ever in deciding who to appoint as a country’s leader. It annulled the late Roman emperor Tiberius’s will and proclaimed Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus as emperor. The person who would become known as Caligula. Over the next two thousand years there would only be two other instances that would supersede this selection in pure stupidity. And yes, Hitler is number one. It would take a yuuuuuge effort for anyone to overtake the selection of Hitler as the number one worst leader in history. A yuuuuuuge effort.
