On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1994 the famous Loch Ness monster photo taken by Marmaduke Wetherell was confirmed to be a hoax. The Loch Ness monster in the photo was a toy submarine with a head and neck attached. Cryptozoologists worldwide were stunned at this announcement and asked what would happen next. Would the Patterson-Gimlin film prove to also be a hoax?
