June 10, 1993

On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! 1993 it was announced by scientists that genetic material was successfully extracted from an insect that lived when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Dr. Phillip Hastane of Promethean Laboratories also stated that at no time was the DNA accidently injected into an intern and that the intern did not mutate into a drooling, insectoid beast that hungered for human flesh.

  1. A Top PR Firm says:

    Dear Twisted-History,

We strongly object to your insinuation that our client might have contributed, in any way, to any hordes of ravenous insectoid beasts that may (or may not) currently be rampaging across the country-side, devouring everyone in their path.

Not only has our client’s involvement never been proven, but the very existence of such creatures is speculative at best. These reports of widespread slaughter at the hands (and fangs, and claws) of these so-called “drooling mutants” are overblown at best (and possibly even made up entirely).

Furthermore, even if such genetic horrors did exist (which, we must again go on record as saying, they quite possibly do not), our client can in no way be deemed responsible for, or even (perhaps) aware of, these tortured souls and/or the wanton death and destruction that they are (hypothetically) leaving in their wake.

In the future (should any of us survive it — for reasons that have nothing to do with any purely accidental bug-hybrid hellbeasts that might theoretically pose a threat to all humanity), please refrain from such slanderous accusations, even those couched in the form of a “joke”.

Rest assured that our client (and his estate, should he not survive his gruesome injuries — which we would like to stress were most definitely not caused by an intern, mutated or otherwise) is not amused.

    Yours Truly,
    A Top PR Firm
