On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1972, Carroll Rosenbloom and Robert Irsay traded their favorite toys with each other. They were not 12 year old boys swapping comic books or baseball cards. They were the owners of the Baltimore Colts and Los Angeles Rams and they didn’t trade a couple of players, they swapped the entire teams. Carroll Rosenbloom went from owning the Baltimore Colts and living in Baltimore to owning the Los Angeles Rams and moving to the West Coast and Robert Irsay did the opposite.
