On January 7, 1998, former White House intern Monica Lewinsky signed an affidavit denying she had an affair with US President Bill Clinton, thereby cementing her status as ‘side piece’ of the decade. Camilla Parker-Bowles demanded a recount, but lost once again to the prettier woman.
