On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 2003, it was reported that scientists in China had found fossilized remains of a dinosaur with four feathered wings and a penis 61 cm long. When American scientists quickly did the math (of which the Australians were extremely grateful), Samuel Hogg of the University of Texas shouted out, “That dinosaur’s thing was two feet long! That ain’t possible!” and the fact it had four feathered wings slipped on through without any comment.
