January 20, 1942

On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1942, Nazi officials held the Wannsee conference, during which they arrived at their “final solution” that called for the extermination of Europe’s Jews. The other solutions that weren’t accepted were (1) building large balloons that would carry the Jews to the moon, (2) creating a separate country for Jews in Siberia (but that would require conquering Russia and everybody knows what a mistake that would be), (3) have all the Jews in Europe eat some of Joseph Goebbels’s mother’s potato dumplings, because that would cause anyone to defect and leave Europe, and (4) peacefully require them to leave with their belongings. Herr Kurt Gercke, who proposed solution (4) was immediately taken outside and shot as a Jewish sympathizer. Erich Koch, who proposed solution (3) was high-fived by everyone, except Joseph Goebbels, who whined and asked why everyone had to make fun of his mother’s cooking.
