January 10, 1946

On January 10, 1946, Project Diana was successfully completed. The United States Army Signal Corps bounced radio waves off the Moon and received the reflected signals, thereby proving that the Moon was real and probably not made of brie, green or otherwise. Flat Earthers cried foul, claiming that the US Army’s science was inadmissible, as the equations relied upon math and physics, and not the hallucinations caused by certain mushrooms found in the woods.
