On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1815, the world’s first commercial cheese factory was established in Switzerland. Loris Federspiel was the first employee of this factory and his main job was taste testing the finished product to decide if it was ready to sell. His official title with the company was “Käse Schneidemaschine” and he is the answer to the famous question, “Who cut the cheese?”
