On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1886, the London Times published the world’s 1st classified ad. It said, “Distinguished gentleman of means looking for a jemmy Judy who knows how to put Nebuchadnezzar out to grass. I do possess a lobcock chinkstopper that is known to satisfactorily complete a commodity. If you are a bushelbubby, I may be interested in gamahuche if you can huffle the bagpipe. Look for Jack in Whitechapel.”

Well, dash my wig! Sounds like this bricky fellah’s up for a bit of tot-hunting. I bet anything a dirty puzzle is what he’s after, and perhaps a glimpse of Cupid’s kettle drums. He’s sure to get the morbs though, once he knows there won’t be any crinkum-crankum.
