On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1933, Blondie Boopadoop married Dagwood Bumstead three years after Chic Young’s popular strip first debuted. Everyone predicted it wouldn’t last, as Dagwood had obviously married way above his weight class. To everyone’s surprise, they’re still married today.
