On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com in 1986 it was revealed that artist Andrew Wyeth had secretly created 240 drawings and paintings of his neighbor, Helga Testorf. This is not considered creepy, as it is believed that Mrs. Testorf knew that she was being painted and/or drawn. But it is also believed that Mr. Testorf and Mrs. Wyeth were unaware of Andrew Wyeth’s little secret hobby, so it was considered naughty.

    When Wyeth’s wife and I discovered what had been going on, we decided that it would only be fair if I also drew her.

    Unfortunately, I’m a terrible artist and she refused to take her clothes off, so the results were less than spectacular.

    Which is quite ironic since Mrs. Testorf also refused to take her clothes off for Mr. Wyeth and the results still turned out pretty damn good.
