On this date in Twisted-History.com in 2011 the German city of Bonn installed a meter to tax prostitutes. The prostitutes would have to pay six euros per night and it was installed near an industrial area frequented by prostitutes and their clients. The Bonn city government did asked several manufacturers about building a specialized booting system that can be installed on prostitutes who don’t pay their daily six euros which would have to be placed on all prostitutes who were found to be in noncompliance. After the meter was installed Bonn did receive hundreds of applications for the new metermaid position that would be needed to regulate and patrol the streets to ensure that all prostitutes were legally parked.
