On This Date in in 2012, Gay pride events were banned for a century in Moscow, which is not surprising as it is a dour and depressing city where nothing fun ever happens. Even the homosexuals in Moscow are a stoic and unfeeling bunch with little to no flair. In fact, at that time the number one rated show in Moscow was “I Found My Husband in The Queue For Vodka and I Obtained True Happiness As I Watched The Bastard Die From Liver Disease Over The Next Ten Years” which was also known as “Russia’s Funniest Home Videos”.
