On April 16, 1986, the world’s news organizations were actively questioning if Muammar Gaddafi, the leader of Libya, was dead. This rumor was affecting the running of his country. To dispel these rumors, Gaddafi appeared on TV and gave a news conference. After the camera got a good close-up of Gaddafi’s face, the rumors changed from him being dead, to him being dead and being an actual walking talking zombie.
