February 28, 1951

On February 28, 1951, a Senate committee issued a report that stated that there were two at least ‘two’ major crime syndicates in the United States. When asked about the Republican and Democratic parties, the committee quickly said, ‘They are four at least ‘four’ major crime syndicates in the United States.

February 19, 1986

On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1986 the US Senate finally approved a treaty outlawing genocide. The treaty had been submitted 37 years earlier in 1949 for ratification, but it’s believed several of the Senators wanted to be sure that they were done killing Native Americans before they ratified it.
