September 20, 1881

On September 20, 1881, Chester A. Arthur was sworn in as the 21st President of the United States after the assassination of James A. Garfield by crazy man Charles J. Guiteau. Guiteau believed that his imagined critical support of Garfield was what won the Presidential election for the Republicans, and because of that, he deserved to be rewarded with a political post to a foreign country. When Garfield’s administration never responded to his many crazy demands, he decided to kill the president. Guiteau was QAnon before QAnon was a twinkling in the eyes of anti-vaxxers and believers that Democrats were running child prostitution rings from pizza shops in Washington, D.C. Crazy, it never skips a generation.

The final straw was when President Garfield ate all the lasagna. It was clearly marked with Guiteau’s name and Garfield ate it anyway. There was no choice but to shoot him. Share Twisted-History. And don’t eat other people’s food.
