On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com in 2001, Barry Bonds hit his 70th homerun, tying him with Mark McGwire for the most homeruns in a single season. Professional wrestlers and body builders purchased all the seats behind home plate at Minute Maid Park on that day, hoping that some of the steroid infused sweat from Barry would fly outward and hit them.
