On October 3, 2018, a study reported in the “Journal of Family Medicine and Primary Care” reported that 259 people had died as a result of taking selfies with their phones. Examples included falling off of cliffs, stepping in traffic, thinking that a dangerous animal was ‘cute’, and playing with guns while drunk. Unfortunately most of the deceased had already reproduced at least once, so their damaged genetic material was still in the human gene pool.
