On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY! in 1927, the Giant Panda was discovered in China. In 1954, 27 years later, a giant lizard discovered Japan and goes on a rampage and destroys most of Tokyo. The Chinese are quietly satisfied with their Giant Panda that eats bamboo, is very photogenic and doesn’t go on rampages destroying major cities and the countryside.
