On May 28, 1923, US Attorney General Harry Daugherty declared that it was legal for women to wear trousers anywhere. He told the reporters that women could wear pants, here and there. They could wear them in a house. They could wear them with a mouse. He said that they could wear them in a box. They could wear them while walking a fox. They could wear them while in a car. Women could wear them while riding a bear. Women could wear them anywhere. In a house, with a mouse, in a box, while walking a fox. They could wear them in a car or riding a bear. Women could wear pants here and there. It was legal for women to wear pants anywhere.
