On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1905 in Russia, it was reported that the peasant revolt was spreading to Georgia. Georgia Governor Joseph M. Terrell asked where Russia was and he was told it was up North somewhere, he quickly formed a militia and sent those boys to guard the North Carolina/Tennessee border, as there were too damn many Yankees in Georgia already and the state didn’t need any Ruskie Yankees making things worse.

  1. Joke Restoration and Reclamation Department says:

In spite of your fine, ongoing efforts at recycling old jokes, you really dropped the ball here.

You had the perfect opportunity to breathe new life into the old “the peasants are revolting” joke, and you completely failed to do so.

Please understand that this does nothing to diminish our admiration of you and your site, but it does force us to downgrade your Perfect rating to Almost-Perfect. Please note that if you disagree with our ruling, you have 30 days to file an appeal, and regardless of that, if you have 6 months of consistent recycling, your rating will be restored.

    With kindest regards,
