On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1906 Ohio passed a law that prohibited hazing by fraternities after two fatalities. Editorials in newspapers at that time asked and demanded to know what the youth of the country’s elite were doing in the college Greek societies across the nation and wanted to know if these young men were spending their time being drunk and visiting brothels instead of going to class.
