July 19, 1908

On July 19, 1912, the town of Holbrook in Navajo County, Arizona experienced a frightening astronomical event. A 420 pound meteorite exploded above the town and rained 16,000 pieces of debris all over it. The people of the town thought at first the world was ending, the explosion was that loud. Ripsorck Epsilom 14 of Gliese 832 later apologized to the American government. He tried to explain that he was engaged in a game of Orksolium. He said it is very similar to a mixture of the Canadian sport of curling and American bowling, but with meteorites instead of a bowling ball or curling rock. He also said this might be a good time to apologize to the Tsar of Russia for the game of Orksolium that was played in June of 1908. Sorry.
