January 25, 1999

On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1999 in Louisville, KY, a man received the first hand transplant in the United States. In June of 1999, his other hand sued for spousal support as it claimed the man, Henry Stodgins, now ignored it in favor of his newer, younger hand. The spousal support documentation outlined several complaints, including no longer being allowed to use the TV remote, being forced to clean Mr. Stodgins’s ears and nose, and no longer being allowed to perform its wifely duties. Judge Rhineholt Collins threw the complaint out and asked why he couldn’t get a nice, clean bestiality case, instead of these weird nutjobs.
