On February 22, 1984, the US Census Bureau statistics showed that Alaska was the fastest growing state of the decade with a population increase of 19.2%. It should also be noted that Alaska was also the state with the smallest population, so one family getting frisky can have a huge impact on the growth rate. It would also be remiss to ignore that there are some awfully long nights during the winter in Alaska and video games didn’t really get popular until the mid 1990s.

About Joel Byers

Has the ability to see the funny and absurd in most things and will always remark on it, even if it means getting the stink-eye from his victims.
