On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 2002, Ray Brent Marsh, operator/owner of Tri-State Crematory in Noble, GA, was arrested after dozens of corpses were found stacked in storage sheds and scattered around the crematory’s property in the surrounding woods. Eventually over 300 bodies were found and identified. Was this the result of a madman killing and hiding his prey? No, it was the result of the incompetence of a son who was forced to takeover his father’s business without truly understanding how it was run. Why didn’t he cremate the bodies in the furnace as he was paid to do? No one knows. What they do know is that he would take the bodies and stack them on the property and give the families urns of concrete dust and tell them it was the ashes of their deceased loved ones. Once again, history has been proven too twisted for even me to poke a stick at.
