On August 31, 2017, research published in “Scientific Reports” strengthen theories that the Neanderthals were the first human species to make glue out of tar. This is also reinforced by the Neanderthalic childish insult of “I am drum, you are glue, what you grunt bounces off me and sticks to you, like mammoth poo.”
