On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1689 William III and Mary II were crowned as joint sovereigns of Britain. It was expected that their first born would be named either Wary VI or Milliam VI, but since none of their children survived the birthing process, the mathematical naming method was quietly discouraged.
