On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com in 1925, the Texas School Board prohibited the teaching of evolution. Chim-Chim, the talking chimpanzee, hailed the school board’s decision, as he explained that weren’t any humans in his family’s woodpile. Chim-Chim was quietly asked by the Texas School Board to stop helping them.
