On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com in 1843 a two-foot long alligator was found to have fallen from the sky during an intense thunder storm in Charleston, SC. Interested observers noted that the alligator had a bewildered look on its face, but it was able to waddle away back toward swampy ground.
