On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1954 British runner Roger Bannister broke the four minute mile barrier. People and many scientists of the day thought it was physically impossible for any human to ever run that fast. Many speculated that a person’s heart would burst if they ran at that speed for that distance. They were proven wrong and Mr. Bannister has been proven to be a trailblazer as now there are high school athletes that have run a sub 4 minute mile.

    The disconnection really is very, very good. And even if that means that people see me less community, I feel like that’s a pretty small price to pay for such a good disconnection.

    I mean, seriously I can’t remember the last time I saw a disconnection this good… It is soooooooo good…
