On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1922 Annie Oakley shot 100 clay targets in a row and set the women’s record. When asked how she was able to do it, she explained that she imagined that the clay targets were her husband’s male parts and that he had just come home late again after a night of drinking with the boys. She said that if you could imagine that, the shooting part was easy. It was noted that Mr. Oakley was visibly sweating as Mrs. Oakley had this conversation with the reporter.
