On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 1998, Khmer Rouge leaders apologized for the 1970s genocide in Cambodia that claimed over 1 million lives. As the Khmer Rouge leaders tried to explain, they were only going to kill and torture around 25,000, just to show the rest of Cambodia what they were up against, but once the killing and torturing started, it was like eating peanuts and it became impossible to stop. They finished their written apology with the statement, “Sorry. My bad.”

  1. Genocidal Maniacs Anonymous says:

The first step is to admit that you have a problem.

Perhaps you could benefit from our 3-step program? We have helped a lot of Mass Murder Addicts, and I believe we can help you too. For instance, we have one member who has just earned his 10 year 5 year 1 year 6 month 1 month chip! One whole month without killing hundreds of thousands of people! That’s the kind of progress you can expect if you join.

Our program is built on 3 simple steps:

Step 1. Admit that you have a problem.
Step 2. Identify the group of people you’d like kill.
    Step 3. Don’t kill them.

If you follow those 3 simple steps, you can live a full, genocide-free life!
