On THIS DATE IN TWISTED-HISTORY! in 2011 The U.S. officially ended its ‘Don’t ask, don’t tell’ military policy, and allowed gay and lesbian personnel to publicly declare their sexual orientation. The number of hot lesbian servicewomen that declared their sexual orientation fell way below the projected numbers and hot, attractive bi servicewomen were eventually included in the lesbian numbers to increase the photo opportunities for recruiting purposes. Many of the older lesbian sergeants were still required to report as grizzled older men, so as not to scare off the lip-stick wanna-bees from enlisting.
