On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 964 AD Pope John XII was beaten to death by a jealous husband who came home way too soon and found the Pope in bed with his wife. This was the second time a Pope was beaten to death by a cuckolded husband. On October 18, 707 AD, Pope John VII was also beaten to death by an angry husband who happened to come home way too soon. It seems people never learn from history. If you’re going to be the Pope and get jiggy with the hot married babes, maybe you shouldn’t pick John as your Pope name.
