On THIS DATE IN TWISTED-HISTORY! in 2008 – The Large Hadron Collider at CERN, described as the biggest scientific experiment in history, was powered up in Geneva, Switzerland. The atomic clocks in London and Utah immediately lost 6 seconds and then gained 10, as everyone worldwide forgot they had a prehensile tail and the color mauve was relocated toward the 20th century as the new black and New Math was explained once again, but everyone was confused on what to do with the dangling integer. Mother Teresa’s ghost was finally located in a strip-club north of Greece in the new country of Macedonia and encouraged to immigrate to the Isle of Lesbo, but her ghost transformed into a vengeful spirit as she realized that “everyone” living on the Isle of Lesbo was a Lesbian, not just the women, and she demanded that she be allowed to haunt the Vatican City or at least one of the small bistros that surrounded it.
