On This Date in TWISTED-HISTORY.com! in 105 AD, Ts’ai Lun invented paper and made it from bamboo, mulberry and other fibers along with fish nets and rags. He was an official of the Chinese Imperial Court of the Han Dynasty and became very wealthy after he presented samples of his paper to the Emperor Han Ho Ti. Those of us who appreciate toilet paper should take a little time today and be grateful of Ts’ai Lun’s invention.
